Birth:Oct 30th, 1974 Hometown: Palermo

Music has always been my daydream. My parents remember me in a very typical position, on the floor, laying on my left side and leaning my head over my left arm, pushing a car model back and forth and singing, singing, singing for hours. It turned out that my way was not that of standing in front of a microphone. I started playing the guitar at the age of 13, the bass at the age of 18. My first band was with my brother Domenico at the drums  and we played some really weird psychedelic Pink Floyd-ish style stuff. My brother has an important part in this history  it was him who first introduced me to the band. It was march 1999, and the guys were in need of a bassist to complete the recording sessions for their first studio demo. When I heard they played metal, I was like ëeeeeeek no way!! I always had despised that noisy bunch of crap, ignorant me! Nevertheless, unaware of the radical shift in my music preferences I was going to face, I tried, and it was the curiosity more than anything else that was pushing me. I tried  and all of a sudden I felt in love with the songs. It was the kind of music I always had loved   I just needed to realise it. Shortly thereafter, I became an effective member of the band, we played around our area, we left to Milan to record our CD, and now we are here, still playing and working and having fun.

I spend my days working at a psychiatric hospital in the morning, as a firms business consultant in the afternoon, and as a musician in the evening and whenever I can plug my bass in the ampli and rehearse all by myself . Currently I play Ibanez SD GR Basses with a Laney combo . I love football , role-playing games and chinese food. I hate watching TV . My musical formation is not the one of a typical metaller – I love rock in all its form. My favourite band varies a lot with my mood – Symphony X are always in my heart though.

Should I decide to save 5 albums from a fire, I’d choose Dominion – Kamelot, The Divine Wings of Tragedy – Symphony X , Moving Target – Royal Hunt, Somewhere in Time – Iron Maiden, and Legendary Tales – Rhapsody. The Lasting Power – Thy Majestie.
