14th April 2007 All right folks, after a little break and some day to think, the time has come to explain how our situation is at the moment. A few days ago some news about the split with Dario Grillo was issued. We want to say that it is not correct to publish such news without hearing our word, inasmuch as there was none about that in our website!!! As they were amateur webzines we chose not to pay any attention. Let’s get to the point: after 8 years with Thy Majestie, 3 recorded cd’s, much sacrifice and time together Giovanni Santini left the band. We won’t explain his reasons, though if he would like he could reply by sending us an e-mail that will be shown in this site. We are sorry for that and we wish Giovanni all the best. Thank you Giovanni. In his place Simone Campione, a very good guitarist from Palermo is to perform at our gigs in Holland and he’s also going to record the next Thy Majestie album. He’s giving us a hand in this dire straits and if he likes he can be a stable element of the band. More mess: we unfortunately made a mistake…about what? (someone might wonder). It was a mistake to believe that with Dario Grillo the things might have run easily. We already got it 4 years ago when there was some communication problem. And so it was After a hard struggle to make his mind up about our gigs in Holland we decided to leave him with his troubles that may have thwarted the smooth running of our work. Good luck to Dario. This time we’re sure we won’t get any relationship anymore. Well, who’s gonna sing with Thy Majestie in The Netherlands and in Modica? And the new album? Don’t worry we’ve got some interesting stuff and we’ll show you it up soon. Support us on, you won’t be sorry! Giuseppe, Dario, Maurizio and Claudio 23rd March 2007 Hello dear friends, sorry for the lack of news. We have been busy for the new album arrangement and composition. We have some good news for you! Thy Majestie will play at the dutch Fear Dark festival in May (11st, 12nd, 13rd). Go to Fear Dark website for more infos and venues. In the meanwhile we are recording the new album. Drums are almost finished and we'll start the guitars soon. Stay tuned ! 30th September 2006 We are really happy to announce that Dario Grillo (Thy Majestie's former singer) is again the singer of Thy Majestie! After many troubles it seems that now the line-up is stable. We have composed 6 new songs. A 7th is going to be composed. We hope to join the recording studio in the early 2007. At the moment we don't know which label will release the album Unfortunately the exeperience with a singer ih the USA didn't work. We wish the best of luck to Matt ! More news have to come, stay tuned ! 15th June 2006 Just a quick note to inform you that Thy Majestie have composed 5 new songs for the new album. 5 killer songs, maybe the best stuff we have ever composed. A the moment we don't know which record label will release the new album. 31st May 2006 "Hastings 1066" is on stock again 30th April 2006 We have a great news : we have a new singer!!! It's Matt Aub, singer and guitar for Timelord, Matt sent us a demo of "Maiden of Steel" sung by him and... WOW, brilliant ! Great "heavy metal" voice. So we decided to accept him, even if he lives thousand miles from us, in the U.S.A. More news later on ! 19th April 2006 Unfortunately we have to announce that Giulio isn't Thy Majestie's singer anymore. There are a lot of personal reasons for this choice. But it had to be done. It will be really difficult to find a replacement here in Sicily, so at the moment Thy Majestie's future is uncertain. We hope to come back soon with good news. We have posted on our site a .Zip file with some mp3s of our latest album, if you think that you are a professional singer and you would like to join Thy Majestie please download the file from here : MP3s , add your voice and then send back the mp3 to our official address.
